Ladies of Laurel 2023 in Review

Another good year, in fact a better year, now that we are meeting unmasked. We started the year with a meeting a Midway Firehouse Pizza. Then in March we held a family movie night, showing Encanto at Laurel Hall. Next we planned but postponed a wine crawl –maybe we’ll do it later. We did gather for a family October bonfire, with plenty of refreshments and jackets and costumes. In November a member hosted a “naked lady party,” which essentially is women bringing excess clothing from their closets, and letting anyone try on and take home anything they liked, all for free. We expect to do this event again. December was our THIRD Holiday Bazaar at Laurel Hall. Again, bringing neighbors together at events, whether in homes or at Laurel Hall, is a wonderful way for our community to stay connected. We are happy when it happens. 🙂
